Our Gift

On behalf of its clients, Pipitone Group made a donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. On November 19, we also volunteered to help fill backpacks with non-perishable food to distribute to local students.

Because our business partners support our ability to make a difference all year-round, our donation will extend into 2016, covering the food backpack program at our neighborhood high school, Perry Traditional Academy—and we will continue to donate our time on a quarterly basis.

We invite you to feed your sense of Community and Nourishment by joining us in providing a food donation to your local community food bank. Friends of Pipitone Group who use their CAN tote bags to do so can request a replacement by emailing mdombek@pipitonegroup.com.

Business doesn't work without community. Communities don't work without resources. By nourishing the community, we invest in a greater success.

The Extent of Hunger in Pittsburgh

In fiscal year 2013-14, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank distributed 15,468,418 pounds of food to individuals and to partner agencies throughout Allegheny County. Their heavy lifting isn’t just impressive—it’s imperative.
